Coastal Holidays in Torbay

Torbay includes the three towns of Paignton, Torquay and Brixham, which are all situated on the South Devon coast. It is one of those places that the entire family can enjoy with so much to see and do, you really will be spoilt for choice. You will find lots of great family attractions for fun days out, and whatever type of accommodation you’re looking for Torbay has them all. Torbay boasts 22 miles of glorious South Devon coast, and it has been a holiday destination for centuries. The Pavilion is located overlooking the marina and has been converted from a Victorian theatre and is now home to many shops, bars and restaurants.

Paignton and Brixham are both great shopping towns each with its own personal charm and character, with lots of unusual shops that you wouldn’t see anywhere else, with plenty of gift shops and tearooms also available.

When it comes to fine dining Torbay has it all, with many glorious restaurants to suit any tastes and budgets. Along the 22 miles of stunning coastline you will find 20 glorious beaches and also many hidden rocky coves. If gardens are your thing then you must visit this beautiful place, with many magnificent gardens to see and admire, orchids and bluebells can be found in the spring woodlands, Torbay is one of the top six sites in the UK where you will find rare plants. The clear seas are home to unusual sea anenomes and sponges. Some parts of Torbay have been designated as a marine nature reserve, one of three underwater reserves in the UK.
