Coastal Holidays in Clevedon

Clevedon is a charming sea side resort, very elegant and has plenty to offer both the young and the old.

 Clevedon is packed with Victorian architecture, and its restored grade 1 listed pier which dates from 1869 is one of the very best in the country and is the only fully intact pier in the UK.

On the pier in the pavilion you can enjoy a cream tea and refreshments.
You can also take a trip on the Waverley paddle steamer or the Balmoral pleasure cruiser, where you can take a cruise down the Somerset and Devon coast and also to Wales.

Superb coastal walks for the outdoor enthusiast are all yours here, you can enjoy fantastic views of the Welsh mountains and coastline.
Many writers have been inspired to write here including, Thackeray, Coleridge and Tennyson you can also go on a special poets walk.

On the seafront at Salthouse fields there are many children’s entertainments and here a band stand plays in the summer.
Take a trip to the Clevedon craft centre where you can buy many unusual gifts.
You must visit Clevedon court which is a 14th century manor house, fabulous place to see.

The Curzon cinema is the oldest run cinema in the entire world.
If you’re looking for a lovely secluded bay you must visit Ladye bay, with absolutely superb scenery.
In Clevedon there are many excellent shops, souvenir shops, restaurants and tea rooms.

Tyntesfield is a spectacular Victorian country house and it overlooks the fantastic Yeo valley and is now looked after by the National Trust, you just have to visit this place it’s stunning.

Clevedon is said to have the best sun sets in the country, so come and admire them for yourself you really will remember this spectacular place.
